LETU Places 16 on Academic All-ASC Teams

The American Southwest Conference honored Tuesday 16 LeTourneau
University student-athletes by naming them as recipients of the spring 2010 Academic All-Conference
awards in baseball, golf, softball and tennis.
Each student-athlete was a season letter winner, had participated in
at least 50 percent of the team’s contests and carried a career grade point average of 3.0 or
better.
LeTourneau students honored in baseball were: David Harrison (Bowie,
Texas), Tyler Kaminski (Houston, Texas), Nate Tomaszewski (Dove Canyon, Calif.), Eric Wait (White
Oak, Texas), Kody Smith (Port LaVaca, Texas) and Chad McCallum (Taylorsville, Miss.).
Those honored in softball were: Kayla Blucher (San Antonio, Texas),
Gina Buysman (Bullard, Texas), Jerrica Cepak (Terrell, Texas), Alex Flanagan (Nacogdoches, Texas),
Christin Mickelboro (Longview, Texas) and Kylie Packard (Lindale, Texas).
Steven Morris (Groves, Texas) was honored in men’s golf, while Kristen
Baskin (Dallas, Texas) and Leslie Lee (Longview, Texas) were honored in women’s golf.
Uli de la Fuente (El Paso, Texas) was honored in men’s tennis.
A total of 65 student-athletic trainers and student sports information
