Women’s Soccer earns NSCAA recognition
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The LeTourneau University women’s soccer team was recognized
Tuesday by the NSCAA, earning a Silver Award for the Team Ethics Award of Merit.
“I’m very proud and honored that our women’s soccer program has been recognized by the NSCAA
for this award,” LeTourneau coach David Plunk said. “It is a credit due to our players for the
great work ethic and sportsmanship.”
The NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Athletic Association) helps its members excel in their
coaching careers as well as advances the coaching of soccer, thereby improving players, through a
commitment to prove the best coaching education, convention, and member services and benefits to
the soccer community.
Nine intercollegiate teams received the NSCAA’s Gold Team Ethics award for completing the
entire 2009 season without receiving either a yellow or red card. Sixty-eight teams, including
