2009 Summer Camps

 

LeTourneau Boy's Baseball Camp

• Ages 7-12  -  June 8-11 (8 a.m.-Noon); June 15-18 (8 a.m.-Noon); June 22-25 (8 a.m.-Noon) - Cost $85 
— It will be a camp filled with fun and intense instructions on basic fundamentals important for baseball players of all ages and skill levels. Campers must bring a glove, baseball pants and cleats every day. As you consider your child attending this camp, know that the instruction is designed for those campers who have a natural desire and passion to further their skills in the game of baseball. It is fundamental, but it is not introductory to the game of baseball. Fundamentals covered will include: throwing, catch and throw skills (play catch properly), hitting, running bases, sliding techniques, general infield play, general outfield play and basic pitching.

LeTourneau Co-Ed Basketball Camp (click for 2009 brochure

• Ages 10-18  -  June 22-25 (8:30 a.m.-Noon) - Cost $95; June 22-25 (8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) - Cost $145 
— This camp is for champions. Geared to those players who are very serious about the game of basketball, for those who want to work hard to become better players, this will be a very intense week of learning and competing. Some of the best coaches and college players in the country will challenge every camper daily. The intenet is to fill the camp with prospects that are serious about learning how to commit themselves to reaching a higher level of play.

Camp Fee Includes: T-Shirt, Basketball, Quality Individual Instruction, Season Pass to all LadyJacket Basketball Games

LeTourneau Little Tykes Basketball Camp (click for 2009 brochure) 

• Ages 5-8  -  June 22-25 (5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.) - Cost $35 
— In this condensed one-hour daily session, the camper will be taught fundamentals including dribbling, shooting and passing. The emphasis is on fun and fundamentals.

LeTourneau Spirit Soccer Camp

• June 15-19; Ages 7-12 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.; Ages 13-17 4 p.m.-7 p.m. (Registration Deadline is June 8)  
— David Plunk, head women's soccer coach, directs the LeTourneau Spirit Soccer Camp. The staff consists of knowledgeable LeTourneau soccer coaches with collegiate soccer players. The camp will emphasize the five basic skills and stresses tactics/functional training by position for the most advanced players. During the week, your child will receive detailed instruction and challenging unique environment which promises to be a rewarding soccer experience.
