Q: Do I need to take the TOEFL?

A: Unless you live in an English speaking country, you need to take the TOEFL. You must show proof of English proficiency.

If you live in an English speaking country, then you do not need to take the TOEFL. The Admissions Office will check your SAT or ACT scores along with any English classes on your transcript as an alternate way to determine English proficiency.

Q: Will I get credit for classes I have taken at another university?

A: If you have taken classes at a university outside the U.S., then you need to contact Educational Credential Evaluators to have your transcript reviewed and sent to LeTourneau University.

Q: Are there scholarships for International students?

A: LeTourneau University offers merit-based scholarships to international students. The financial aid website has information on transfer and freshman merit-based scholarships.

For students who do not receive a merit-based scholarship, we offer an International Incentive Grant.
