International Opportunities
What is This About?
This is about opening the world through international study opportunities! What better way to expand your education than to take a semester, summer or spring-break trip? Whether you are a student or faculty member, LeTourneau offers many choices that can fit into your schedule and plans! So, let’s get started – let’s see the world!
It is important to build time into your academic schedule to ensure that you get the most out of your international experience. For this reason, we encourage all freshmen (and especially sophomores and juniors!) to either visit the Office of International Studies or their academic advisor to discuss their study-abroad options. Don’t wait – start planning now!

How can I Apply?
These interdisciplinary learning opportunities are available to upperclass students. The student should consult with his or her academic advisor to determine the applicability of the credit earned towards his or her major. The student must be enrolled at LeTourneau University during the semester spent at each of these off-campus programs. In addition to tuition, LeTourneau University students who participate in off-campus study programs will be assessed a $300 fee per semester to cover administrative costs of dual enrollment incurred by the University.
Can I Use Federal Aid to Pay for the Program?
Typically you can apply your federal aid to most study-abroad programs. However, every program is different, so please visit the Office of International Studies as soon as you can to determine whether your federal aid can be applied toward your chosen program.
How do I Pay for the Program?
Every program is different. Please visit the Office of Student Accounts to make arrangements for payment.
Who Can Help Me?
Ms. Marta Martin, Director of International Studies and Ms. Linda Higgs, Coordinator of Student Services and International Students can provide you with information about each program, getting a visa, traveling, payment and any other questions you might have.
