Student Projects

LeTourneau’s engineering and engineering technology programs are project-based. That means you’ll have many project design opportunities throughout your curriculum. Typically, these projects will not be a paper-only design, but will result in an operational prototype.

You may also have the chance to compete in national and international competitions, many of which are sponsored by national engineering societies, such as SAE and ASME.

Current student projects include:

Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) Project

Friction Stir Welding Project

I-TEC HydroPower Project

I-TEC Powered Parachute Project

L.E.G.S.

L.E.G.S. - Small Plot Irrigation

NAP: Nickel Alloy Project

RelaPS Project

S.A.E. Aero Design Competition

S.A.E. Mini-Baja Competition
