Mission Aviation
We prepare you for service as a missionary pilot, technician and/or pilot-mechanic.
Kevin, Ken, and Rachel work to remove the cylinder head from a Taylorcraft in order to replace the head gasket at MMS Aviation in Coshocton, Ohio.
We have a long heritage of preparing students for service
as missionary pilots and technicians.
Mission aviation organizations, such as ABWE Air , Aim Air , JAARS , Kingdom Air Corps , MAF , MMS , and New Tribes Mission , visit the campus regularly, meeting with students and providing input into the mission aviation training program. Students have opportunities to work with mission organizations during spring break and internships. Many of our students fly and work on airplanes during mission trips to Alaska and Ohio every year, and we host an annual Missions Emphasis Week for mission organizations to meet interested students at the Abbott Aviation Center.
